Coachella will be getting one of the best sound systems in the world this year.
LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy has been working with sound engineer John Klett and 2manydjs for the past couple of years on a project titled “Despacio.” The Despacio project is a 50,000 watt, 11.5 feet tall speaker system which is position behind the crowd allowing music fans to focus on the music playing rather than the DJ.
While Despacio was originally built for Ibiza, James Murphy and colleagues felt it'd be perfect to use the speaker system for Coachella's 2016 year.
