The Chainsmokers were mostly quiet this past week as the whole of electronic dance music met in Miami to showcase all of the biggest news for the upcoming year. That is most likely because the guys have been tirelessly on a world tour. I guess to make up for their silence over Miami Music Week Alex and Drew took to Facebook today and dropped another single from ‘Memories: Do Not Open'.
‘The One' is a folk inspired jam that is as catchy as it is original. The track starts off with vocalists trading back lyrics before slowly building up into a constant slow bouncing jam. The guys totally took a chance with this one. It is not their usual high powered house anthem but more a of thoughtful, melodic upbeat track full of introspection.
