On April 26, 2024, the Rainbow Ballroom in Fresno, CA, came alive as Kindred supported William Black on his ‘The Nature of Hope’ tour. Kindred, real name Vivian Chung, delivered a set with emotional “crybangers,” creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the sold out show.
A highlight of the evening was when Afterdark joined Kindred on stage for their unreleased track “Afterlife.” This beautiful and emotional piece, written about losing someone too soon and the hope of following them into the afterlife, brought tears to Kindred’s eyes during the performance. Kindred also brought out Dante Levo for three tracks: “Again,” “Pull Me Under,” and “Suzume,” which added a really cool layer to her performance.
Grateful for the warm welcome from Fresno, Kindred expressed her excitement to return. Fans of artists like Haliene, JVNA, and Nurko would appreciate Kindred's melodic dubstep and vocal-heavy sound.
