As Armin van Buuren just won the best DJ in the World by DJ Mag Top 100, he may have some big news for his next album release in May 2013. In an interview with DJ Mag, Armin says that about 70% of his next album is done and that he said his manager is telling him to hurry up on it.
Armin said “I'm really curious how my fans are going to react, because it's very different” he told DJ Mag. He also went on to say that “There are a few safe tracks, and I've been road-testing a few of the more trance-y tracks off the new album, but making an artist album always allows you to experiment a little bit more.” This raises a big question to the die-hard Armin fans worldwide, will they remain as big of fans if he experiments with other types of Genres? One thing I've noticed about most Armin fans is that they like his typical sound, so this can be a very bold move for AVB.
Armin went on to say at ADE, that
“I can’t please everybody; you can never please 100-percent.”
