In case you haven't heard yet, SoundCloud has completely revamped its subscription plans and has introduced many new features. One of my issues with SoundCloud was the expensive and confusing tiers that it had. Luckily they have made the decision to drop it from 4 tiers to two tiers in which you can choose between the Free Plan, Pro Plan and Pro Unlimited. With the Pro Plan you can now pay €3 (Almost $4) per month for a total of 4 upload hours or you can pay about €9 (Almost $12) a month for the unlimited upload plan. The Pro Plan is the same as the old Lite Plan in terms of cost and storage limits.
SoundCloud has also introduced many new stats options for producers as it shows a wide variety of new statistics. Another big announcement for SoundCloud is the moving images. Partners will have the ability to create more visual profiles with banner images in which they have labeled “Moving Sounds.”
Today SoundCloud reaches over 180 million users per month and users are posting about 10 hours of audio every single minute.
