If former convicts and people who are a little too good with machine guns are your thing, then you might want to check out the duo Epoch. Epoch is an unlikely electronic music production collaboration between Bit Felon (a convicted hacker) and Moniker, a tattooed Marine recently back from Iraq. With robot sex synths and gritty baselines, their original productions are a must have for purists who don't need vocals.
They also have released a remix of Macklemore's Thrift Shop, and in case listening to that song for the millionth time doesn't make you want to kill yourself, I recommend it.
