Berlin (via UK) producer, mixer, and composer Gold Panda's latest full length album is now streaming over at NPR before it receives its proper release next week on the 11th. Gold Panda's first album, Lucky Shriner was released in 2010 to critical acclaim, and was subsequently followed with a handful of singles and an EP a few months ago. The music Gold Panda makes is dreamlike – building up layers of what sound like natural samples into rotating and morphing patterns. Sometimes these patterns move like waves, slow and swirling in their sonic evolution while other tracks feel explosive with raw, striking drums and tape-warbled hooks via vocal samples.
Stream the album over at NPR's website now.
