As you may have heard, Microsoft just introduced the Windows 8.1 update which is also an update to its Xbox Music app which puts the emphasis back on your music and not so much the music discovery aspect. Microsoft still has the ‘explore' functionality, but Microsoft really wants to make it easier for you to play your own music. Before it took over 6 clicks to play your own songs and now it just takes two. While this is a big upgrade from the previous version, the main new feature is the Pandora-like radio feature that lets you pick any song in the Xbox Music collection and start a radio station from that song. Unfortunately you're not able to give your opinion on the song as there is no upvote or downvote capabilities.
