In a recent interview with NME, the Australian duo talked about their recent album ‘Ice On The Dune' which was released 4 weeks after Daft Punk's ‘Random Access Memories.' Empire Of The Sun said that he “was aware that Daft Punk were getting more press coverage than our record, but I wasn’t too concerned.” He also went on to say that ‘Ice On The Dune' “is filled with such great songs that it’ll hang around a lot longer than some of those other records that came out around the same time. They had a great marketing campaign, but we’ve got better songs.”
Empire Of The Sun's Steele said that Nick has been doing a lot of work in the studio for the next album which will be a “prequel.”
