Just a couple of Hours ago, EDM Sauce posted a story from Anna Yvette who had claimed that MitiS hasn't paid her for any of her vocal work on any of their songs together. I recently just got off the phone with MitiS and his manager who told me their side of the story.
Here's a synopsis of what MitiS and his manager said happened:
MitiS told me that the song “Change Will Come” was the name title not only given to the song, but also the name of his tour as well. In essence, MitiS said that “Change Will Come” was his flagship song and was one of the most important tracks of his coming out. MitiS said that they had reached out to Anna Yvette on the track originally to do the vocals for it. Anna asked that in exchange for doing the vocals on the track, she'd like to upload the song exclusively on her SoundCloud page and that the free download would direct people to liking her Facebook page in order to download the song for free. MitiS said due to the nature of this song and that it was his flagship song for his tour, that this would not work for them, but possibly other songs in the future. Time had passed and MitiS said that nothing had come out of this and it wasn't brought up again.
Unknowingly to MitiS and RJ, Anna Yvette conducted an interview with ThisSongSlaps which also premiered the song “Change Will Come” with the vocals of none other than Anna Yvette. The song TSS premiered was uploaded on Anna's SoundCloud and offered as a free download through her Facebook Page. Almost immediately MitiS had reached out to TSS letting them know that this was an unauthorized track and asked them to remove it. MitiS and RJ claimed that they did not threaten to sue TSS, but just asked them to remove it, in which TSS complied right away.
About an hour later, Anna Yvette took to her Facebook to give her side of things claiming that they had threatened to sue her for “putting up a vocal bootleg of his song “change will come.””
