We have all seen the recent devastation in Manila, and the rest of the Philippines, as Hiayan was the largest typhoon to ever make land fall. Thousands of people were killed and even more homes were destroyed as the aftermath is just heartbreaking. The people of the Pacific look out into the world for help and support, as group of unlikely heroes has stepped up to the plate. I am talking about Axwell who pledged to donate his earnings of his tour there to the crisis, and now Protocol Label boss Nicky Romero. In a recent Facebook post Nicky talked about giving away money from his upcoming Show in Manila to help out, and on top of that giving away as many VIP tickets as he can. While Nicky and Axwell's effort are just small contributions, their influence on the rest of the world will be huge. They are industry leaders and leading examples of how those fortunate to earn a lot can really give back to those in need. While we all might not be wealthy artists or even have any money to give, we can keep these poor victims in our thoughts and prayers in the weeks to come! #Nicky4Manila
