Following the worldwide success of his debut single “Animals”, 17-year-old producer/dj Martin Garrix is the newest addition to Scooter Braun Projects, Scooter Braun’s entertainment company that provides his clients with management, marketing, and publishing. The deal comes as a partnership between Scooter Braun Projects and Spinnin’ Records sister company, MusicAllStars Management.
Signing on as the first EDM artist within the company's many superstar talents, Garrix will be served by Michael George, an SBP agent who discovered Garrix last year. George said the company's involvement was previously kept underwraps in order to maintain focus over Garrix and to allow him to grow as an artist.
Garrix will follow along side fellow SBP artists like the global success that is Justin Bieber and newcomer Ariana Grande, both very young pop superstars. However, Garrix will continue to produce EDM tracks and follow his original path as a dance artist.
Scooter Braun said about the company taking on its first EDM artist that he wanted to pay respect to the Genre.
“We are new comers here. I wanted Martin and Spinnin to take this to the right level before we showed our affiliation and now I believe it’s at a point where we can stand next to Martin because he’s a much bigger star than we are.”
