SFX Entertainment (SFXE) has continued their worldwide expansion by picking up Germany's i-Motion which operates 8 festivals. i-Motion was established in 1994 and has just been acquired by SFX Entertainment for $16 million in cash and $5 million in stock.
i-Motion operates eight festivals in Germany, Belarus and Poland including Nature One, Mayday Festival, Ruhr-in-Love and many others. Robert Sillerman said ““i-Motion is a key strategic acquisition for us, as it sits at the helm of dance music in Europe’s biggest country and is a portal to the fast-growing EMC markets of Continental Europe.”
