The day before his last show in Manila, Zedd used his Facebook to make an announcement and strike a charitable deal with his fans to benefit the victims of Super Typhoon Haiyen. Zedd wrote that profit from the concert would be donated to the victims and he also offered up free tickets to his concert in exchange for donations of food and supplies:
MANILA, LISTEN UP!!!
The show tonight in Manila is sold out!
100% of the profit goes to charity!
I know not everyone was able to afford tickets so we held 500 tickets that we will give away in exchange for a box full of canned food!
The first 500 people to come to the main entrance with a nice full box of canned food will get tickets in exchange!
If you are #501 and don't get a ticket PLEASE still leave the canned food with us as we will ship it all over to the ones who need it most.
Please bring the boxes at 6pm local time.
Zedd‘s fans from Manila came through – just check out the photo below to see Zedd with some of the supplies that were donated.
Even though you might have missed out on Zedd's show in Manilla, you can always donate to those in need through Unicef.
