On December 31, he posted a bit about his new album on his Facebook page:
“…To finish with a slight tease, you'll finally be able to hear the first single from the new album in a couple of weeks (some of you who are very active when it comes to checking my gig tracklists might have already worked out what it is) and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you.”
Gareth Emery has released a preview of his new track ‘U' featuring Bo Bruce on Soundcloud. This track is a great start to what we will be seeing from Emery in 2014. As stated on an earlier Facebook post in October, Gareth will be going back to his roots and focusing on “melody & songs”, and this single does just that. The glorious vocals of Bruce along with the progressive melody, will have many Emery fans coming back for more. I for one can't wait to see what he has coming for us next.
The single will be available on iTunes February 4th. If you can't wait to buy the single you can pre-order it on January 13, 2014. Till then, reward your ears with this little piece of progressive heaven.
