The legendary acid house promoter in Britain known as Tony Colston-Hayter has admitted being a key role in the $2.1 million heist this week from Barclays Bank affecting over 24,000 customers. The heist was done through an online scam that targeted the bank, taking money as well as credit card details from the 24,000 people.
The Daily Mail said that Tony used the credit card information to go on shopping sprees at Harrods and Selfridges. To date this is one of Britain's “biggest cyber bank robberies.”
Tony Colston-Hayter was the one responsible for Sunrise, the promotion company who began throwing some of Britain's biggest raves.
