Streamus lets you search for a song and starts playing it in a matter of seconds (while only playing the audio from a video). Ever accidentally close a song you were listening to? Well Streamus runs behind the scenes so you can enjoy a seamless, tab-free experience. Streamus will even let you create playlists, add songs to playlists, save playlists for later listening, or enable a “Radio” mode that tries to find tracks you’ll like based on the artists you’ve picked. It is very simple, You pick songs, it plays songs…quickly.
Streamus is totally free and is still in an early Beta stage, so it is not without some problems. Since it pulls songs from YouTube’s music collection there can be issues with not finding the right song you may be searching for. Most of the time the top result is usually the song you are searching for, but that's not always the case. Also, some songs are mislabeled and some do not have the best quality. But the positives most definitely outweigh any negatives that Streamus may have. It’s fast, it’s free, and an easy way to listen to songs and create playlists.
