The British brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence are 2 EDM producers and DJs who founded the world famous group Disclosure. 92.3 NOW Radio station out in New York held an interview with the duo to talk about their progression from live instruments to getting into Electronic Dance Music, Paris Hilton's DJing, ghost production and their live performances.
Here Howard said “What separates us from a lot of other dance music producers is that we come from a very different background, most dance music producers start out dj-ing and we didn’t. We got into dj-ing long after we started producing. We grew up learning instruments. Like, I was playing bass guitar and Guy was playing drums. I think that’s given us an entire different outlook on it. We write songs, conventionally written songs and produce them like dance music.”
