Just released yesterday, GRiZ, the electro-funk extraordinaire, has wowed the masses yet again with his new track titled, Need This. The official music video documents large swaths of the “Rebel Era” tour that was recently completed and includes some personal thoughts and insights from Grant himself and other members of his touring family. Along with showing some behind the scenes glimpses into the shenanigans of the road, the video also documents some cool art and perspective shots that are always to be seen in these kinda videos. Need This starts off with a soulful guitar and trumpet track before transforming into a delicious saxophone experience that smoothly compliments the staccato scratching.
Equally exciting, if not more so, is the announcement that GRiZ will be touring with Pretty Lights Music artist/producer Michal Menert for the majority of the tour, which has been called the “Power In Numbers” tour. Exmag, of Lowtemp will be joining GRiZ for the first two tour dates which are in Aspen and Boulder, Colorado, respectively. Make sure to grab tickets for the show nearest you, as parts of this tour have already sold out the 21+ tickets and this is surely not to be a show you can afford to miss.
