After opening for their boss Eric Prydz at the highly acclaimed EPIC 2.0 show in November, Jeremy Olander and Fehrplay are back to Avalon in Hollywood this Saturday, February 22nd. 2013 saw the duo light up 20 different cities in the U.S. on the inaugural Pryda Friends Tour and 2014 promises to be another huge year. The duo just released the new track “Balboa” with a free download (below) and it's another progressive house classic. Both have been producing on the road and this result is a free download, part of the guys showing their appreciation for the fans.
We sat down with Norwegian Jonas Fehr AKA Fehrplay and Sweden's Jeremy Olander in a recent interview and love the enthusiasm from their answers about bringing a different vibe to progressive house. Jeremy Olander was signed to the Pryda label at the age of 23 and has a trademark deep progressive and emotional sound. Some of his notable tracks include “Bandersnatch,” “Balboa,” and “Petroleum” (collaboration with Ferhplay) and his beatport top 10 hit “Let Me Feel.” Fehrplay is on fire after recently being featured on Pete Tong's BBC Radio Future Stars segment. He made some deeper tracks last year like “Monte” and “Talk to Me” in addition to some incredible tunes like “Phantom” (below), a spectacular piano-driven club anthem, and the more provocative banger “Indigo.” He has plenty of free downloads on his Soundcloud page as well. Check them out!
