Bro Safari and UFO! are releasing a Remix LP Album of their “Animal” EP and took the time to make a mini-mixtape teaser of the best remixes and interviewed each other about meeting each other, their first song, their process together, and the making of their entire album. The album started as 25 songs but turned into ten. They also noted that only two songs that the duo wrote in person, Drama and Animal, which were recorded in Bro Safari's hometown of Austin, Texas. The LP Remix Album will be out March 17th.
The guys admitted that Animal was a difficult song to remix but gave credit to artists like Brillz and young guys who came in and made things a “2.0” version. UFO added, “the remix album is like the future of all this.. Even when we started to get the tunes, it was like these kids grabbed these tunes we just made and this is what the possibilities are now.”
In reference to the Remix Competition for the song “Drama” that was featured on ThisSongIsSick, the guys were impressed with how everyone “went all out.”
“This is why we asked our peers to do it because we're drawn to like-minded individuals,” Nick AKA Bro Safari added.
Remixes in the teaser are familiar to fans. Remix of Animal by Brillz, Party Favor's remix of Drama (contest winner), and other mixes from Bro Safari's past group Evol Intent, ETC!ETC!, Valentino Khan, MUST DIE!, Jesse Slayter, Gents and Jawns, Milo & Otis, and others.
