Afrojack is a well-known name in the dance music world yet, he has never released his own album. Well that is about to change as Nick Van De Wall, known as Afrojack, creatively revealed album information on Snapchat yesterday. In an interview with Rolling Stone Nick commented that Snapchat was a perfect medium as ‘it's a temporary glimpse, it's nothing that stays with you, it's something you can control. That message of freedom is really fucking important to me.' That attitude seems to be the general theme of the album as Afrojack attempts to create an album totally in his own vision.
The album has some impressive collaborations including a featured collab with Sting on a track called ‘Catch Tomorrow'. Also appearing on the album will be Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa. Nick told Rolling Stone that his album is ‘basically a message not just to my fans, but also to myself, to always remember to keep following your heart, keep following your path, and never try to let the things around you get you down.' Looking forward to his debut album, ‘Forget the World,' which will be released on May 19th. And for those looking to follow Afrojack add him on Snapchat as RealAfrojack.
