Earlier today, Beatport, the go-to online music store specializing in electronic music and culture, announced their release of an updated version of Beatport Pro for Macintosh products. According to Beatport, what this version of the new product will do for Mac users is as follows: “expanded tagging capabilities, positive and negative filtering for easy sorting, DJ-specific music classifications, customizable playlists, metadata sync, and so much more.” I think this will be a positive step in the right direction for Beatport as a company, but we will have to see how the Mac users like it.
