It seems that as soon as a song starts to get played out is the exact same time as to when the song begins to go mainstream. On Wednesday night, American Idol celebrated its 500th episode and with it, they introduced The Chainsmokers to perform their hit track “#SELFIE” to over 7 million viewers on Fox's American Idol.
