The Time Kaskade Almost Started a Riot Outside The Chinese Theater

Last week we posted about the very moment that Deadmau5 found the vocals for his hit track “The Veldt” during a livestream session. Today we are going throwing it back to remember when Kaskade decided to post to Facebook and Twitter that he will be bringing a “truck, speakers and music” to have a party outside Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Little did he know what was to come.

LA Times reported that “A DJ set by Kaskade at the premiere of the Electric Daisy Carnival Documentary, “Electric Daisy Carnival Experience,” was shut down by police Wednesday evening in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre when masses of fans spilled into Hollywood after Kaskade announced a live performance via Twitter. As the police attempted to disperse what turned into a huge gathering, crowds reportedly turned on the police and started throwing objects at them.”
