The Kooks have been one of my favorite bands for a long while, so at first I was a little held back while listening to this remix of “Around Town” by Slinger but I was pleasantly surprised with the glowing new edit. The Caribou City-based producer has released only remixes thus far [and only has 3 releases total, for now] but each one has its own unique touch on it, sounding better as they progress. Because of his public evolution as a growing producer, The Kooks felt Slinger was worthy of blessing “Around Town” with an official remix and I agree with their choice.. This guy should not be slept on. Listen to his edit of the song below, and keep your eyes on Slinger.
