The Prototypes are a UK drum and bass duo comprised of Chris Garvey and Nick White. With their return to Viper Recordings, The Prototypes are set to release a new LP called City of Gold. After hearing two singles released by Garvey and White, Lights and one of the best dnb songs I have ever heard Pale Blue Dot, saying the City of Gold LP is highly anticipated would be an understatement.
The piano melodies in Don't Let Me Go alone is enough to make anyone love this track. The Prototypes rythmic drums provide the well polished drive that old school drum and bass fans as well as newcomers to the scene can appreciate. With dj support coming from such prominant names in drum and bass as Sub Focus, Pendulum, Matrix & Futurebound, Netsky, Fred V & Grafix, Dirtyphonics, Metrik, Camo & Krooked, and Sigma the sky is the limit for the Brighton duo.
