If you're looking for more tunes that puts the “M” into EDM, make sure to check out Henry Pope's Four-track EP called “Waiting” that was released last month. This EP is a special fusion of contrasting styles and genres blended together. There's plenty of chill jams in this EP with a diverse range of sounds: 808 drums, trap, classic symphonic melodies, indie rock, funk, and glitch hop.
“Luz” is the first single on this EP and it's a funky, smooth jam that features some Spanish female vocals from Fernanda Karolys. “Swayback” is a very cool tune featuring some filtered folk instrumentals meshed with some chill trap and then breaks into piano. “DMV Nails” puts some great jazz and blues melodies into a track that delivers some interesting mid-tempo funk. The final track on this EP, “Waiting,” can best be described as future downtempo, with some funky glitch and beautiful vocals over more easy listening beats.
