After releasing a plethora of amazing refixes, Royal finally dropped the first single off his upcoming Cycles EP. The record, “Royal's Theme,” is yet another piece of music by this constantly-evolving producer out of DC that blows me away, and is quite the intro for listeners unaware of the fact that this dude is not JUST a producer who can crush a remix, but a genuine musician who can also craft breathtaking originals. The powerful new tune is filled with lush synths, perfectly cut vocal samples, all backed by massive percussion and drum section that give the song just that much more ‘oomph‘ – listen to “Royal's Theme” by Royal below now.
