The Major Lazer cartoon has always been a huge part of the group's image, but now the Jamaican commando will be making his way onto your TV screens.
In a recent Billboard interview, Diplo has revealed that the crime fighting Major Lazer will be getting his own TV show on FOX in 2015, despite having a 15 minute trial run show on Adult Swim back in 2011. The show will correspond with Major Lazer's third album, also set to be released in 2015. The show will also get it's own soundtrack featuring original songs and collaborations with the likes of Riff Raff and Cat Power.
It is likely the person behind Major Lazer‘s album art, Ferry Gouw, will be involved with the making of the show. One can only imagine that the Rastafarian superhero show will be a huge success, especially with Diplo's sense of humor.
