There is no end to the emerging production talent coming from Australia at the moment and today Basenji adds his name to the list of up and coming stars. Flume and Chet Faker are among some of the artists on Future Classic, the Australia-based label, and today Basenji joined them with his release of “Heirloom.”
This track places you in a Japanese forest it seems, one of those feel-good summer time songs. It has some catchy beats and nice bass, starting out like trap, but the track goes in and out of very peaceful, relaxing melodies. Another unique production from down under. Check it out below. You can get the free download by visiting Basenji's Facebook page. Enjoy.
