After a delayed start to Burning Man, thousands of people poured into Black Rock City to begin the Burning Man festivities. All seemed to be going fine until Burning Man tweeted “Fatal accident occurs at Burning Man event” with a link to their blog. It seems that a woman has died early Thursday morning after reportedly falling under a bus carrying participants of the event.

“This is a terrible accident,” said Burning Man co-founder Marian Goodell. “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and campmates.
