The grey skies overhead looked pretty bad – even while I was raging to the Vicetone set at Mainstage East, I kept looking up to check and see if they'd gotten darker. When the first raindrops started to fall, I figured it was temporary. An hour later, it was all over. No more Ezoo. The entire 3rd day, cancelled. The sky had opened up with a hell of a monsoon – people were drenched, water was all the way up to car doors. Electrocution, I thought to myself. I'd really rather not see Netsky get electrocuted during his set (Check out the instagram from Deorro on site – http://instagram.com/p/sYMuFRQUlL/ ).
As a result, many of the biggest DJs are now in NYC with some free time on their hands:
- Kaskade
- Jack U
- ATB
- Alesso
- Dirty South
- Morgan Page
- Chase and Status
- Nicole Moudaber
- What So Not
- Dash Berlin
- Seven Lions
and more.
EDM fans may remember that last year Ezoo day 3 was cancelled due to the deaths of 2 concert-goers. Whether its the bad weather, or just bad luck, needless to say folks who had barely arrived to the EZoo left the festival grounds soaking wet and really furious. There are official afterparties for EZoo already planned at Pacha and Output, of course, but there are now impromptu concerts with massive lineups. Obviously we are crushed about EZoo cancellation, but check out the what's coming together below:
@Diplo and @Skrillex so what’s good? I wonder if anyone in NYC would wanna host something with the likes of us….?

(feeling a tiny bit more optimistic, right?)
Super sad to miss out on the rest of EZoo. Will post updates for further shows tonight in NYC.
