Dwells, a 13-year-old DJ, took 1st place at the Disco Mix Club (DMC) DJ competition at their 2014 NYC Regional competition. After winning the regionals in NYC, Dwells went on to take second place at the 2014 DMC National Championship. Although it wasn't first, this kid has undeniable deck skills that wowed crowds with his performances. It's very respectable to see someone so young use time code and control vinyl in his performance; especially when you consider this is the day and age of ‘sync' button and bedroom DJs.
