After scrolling through my twitter and noticing large amounts of twitter accounts “surrendering to Cash Cash” I decided to have a look and see what's going on. I wasn't sure at all what was happening. Is this a new religion? Turns out, Cash Cash has just released their new tune “Surrender”. What they decided to do is to let fans twitter accounts be used by Cash Cash themselves. All it involves, is you tweeting cash cash (after you changed your picture to their “Surrender” flag) and they will personally tweet for a bit from your account. This is the first time I have ever seen anything like this, and it seems to be working with Cash Cash receiving a lot of attention to their single. It's quite a good tactic to widen their fan area. However, it still seems slightly…. Odd?
But onto the song, yet again Cash Cash produced another high quality song. The beat and melody are not perfect and they didn't catch me on too much. But, the whole harmony of the song is really good. All the little components come together into a really good song. Individually, maybe they don't make the scratch but all together it is simply beautiful.
Saying that, it has already made the top 10 iTunes chart! Pretty impressive.
