You won't find anyone having a hotter week from the artists of “no genre specific” EDM than JumoDaddy. His tune Black Horse recently got played in a massive Sirius XM set last week by some guy named Skrillex and now Play Me Records dropped Part 2 of his “Four Horses EP” this week. While Black Horse off Part 1 is some epic fire with some classic death wobbles and an amazing use of melody and glitch hop, the new stuff goes even harder.
With the tune “Pale Horse”, The two-track EP of Part 2 starts with more of the same intensity and mid tempo style but achieves deeper head-bopping rage. This one has a dramatic lead intro with some real edgy vocals that make you feel like a medieval civilian about to get decapitated. Then JumoDaddy really throws down the hyphy with some glitch based in trap and bass. Further loss of body function could be caused by those electro synths. You have to check that one out for clarity, we got dizzy. The second track, “White Horse” is a prime example of the funky and unique feels. Aided by some cool drum and bass and nice builds, the main dubstep hits in this are offensive and have no mercy. Overall, the EP has an underground grunge vibe that's irresistible.
