Who would have thought Microsoft and creative design firm, Stimulant, would create, ‘The Cube'. A new instrument in the shape of a cube for digital artwork displaying multiple colors and light intensity is a piece created by Stimulant.
Premiered at the EMP Museum in Seattle as part of Seattle’s Decibel Festival, this was an immediate attraction for spectators. Powered by five computers, visualizes sensor data from four Kinects placed inside and also reacts in real-time to sound inputs. The video below explains why, how and what The Cube is all about.
