As the DJ Mag readies to release the DJ Mag Top 100 list, many people and DJs are starting to speculate who may be the #1 DJ of the world this year.
Last year Hardwell took home the #1 prize, while Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Tiesto and David Guetta followed behind. While nobody knows for certain who will be at the top of DJ Mag's Top 100 list this year, Laidback Luke has given his educated guess that Martin Garrix will be at the #1 spot.
Laidback Luke wrote:
“Everybody has been whispering that it’s going to be Martin Garrix this year. And you know what, I really like Martin, he’s a very down-to-earth guy that’s just into it to make music and travel the world. He’s had this insane year and he’s still keeping up. I know that it’s tough going from a couple of local shows to the whole world circuit. Props to him and I hope he makes it.”
