Asia’s Biggest Dance Music Festival Sunburn announced “On the Road to Goa” City Festivals in the cities of Mumbai and Noida in India this October. Yesterday marked the closing of these huge events. With headlining acts from W&W, Krewella, Cazzette and more, this year, Sunburn was a dance-music extravaganza filled with all-day partying. Giving a taster of things to come for Goa's December three day festival, the “On the Road to Goa” city festivals showcased some of the hottest names in dance music, alongside India's home-grown talent Dualist Inquiry and Sunburn’s resident DJ (S)haan with an exclusive B2B set with Zaeden on Sunburn Festival’s legendary Cubezoid Stage.
During the festival, we got a chance to get a few words in with Cazzette. They extolled the festival and organisation and said, “The atmosphere and energy is just great. We came into this with an open mind, without any prerequisite thoughts. However owing to the performances, we have have great hopes for Sunburn in the future.” When asked about the idea of Tomorrowland coming to India, Alex replied, “Its a huge festival that people from all over the world attend. If it were to come here, im sure it would hold up great. The EDM culture is spreading so much that now the need for other nations to embrace it is becoming immense.” Further, Krewella sought to keep the crowd going with remixes of famous Punjabi songs, which set the stage for a banging finish by the Dutch giants W&W.
