2014 has been an electrifying year, riddled with massive singles, collaborations and remixes from all across the globe. It has also been the defining year for many newcomers who took to the EDM platform and stunned all music lovers with new and original tunes. As the year winds to a close, we are introduced to another group who are looking to end 2K14 with a bang.
NEXU is an Israeli producer group, composed of 4 talented and well known DJ's in the Israeli scene; Ben Azoulay, Itay Itshaki, Roy Asiag and Hanan Alalouf. This quartet is the pioneer of the Israeli dance Music Industry, leaping from the biggest club scenes in Tel-Aviv, to the dominant venues, events and festivals across the country.
To showcase their talent, Nexu have produced a 13 minute long yearmix studded 140 of the top songs of the year. The mix perfectly blends all melodies and drops and shuffles from song to song impeccably. The track maintains constant energy and bounce throughout its length, pointing at the great production value. It seems impossible has to how 13 minutes can capture such a plethora of tracks so professionally and seamlessly. We can safely say that this is one of the better mashups out there at the moment.
