In 2014, Spotify's 50 million users listened to seven billion hours of music and created more than 700 million playlists this year.
Spotify announced that Pharrell's “Happy” was the most-streamed song globally this past year, but coming in third place though was Calvin Harris' hit track “Summer.” Overall Calvin Harris was the 4th most-streamed artist in all genres of music, trailing behind Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Katy Perry.
