One of dubstep label Never Say Die‘s longest standing residents 501 has just ended a year long absence and released the brilliant “Crystallize” EP. Spanning four tracks in length, one being a funk-filled remix from Barely Alive.
Opening with the punchy yet drawn out title track, it moves almost serenely into “Won't Change”, a melodic number featuring Protohype and Ras on vocals. “Kill Your Boss” comes next, a sample-heavy number that switches up in tempo and theme, keeping the listener guessing – and is followed by its previously mentioned impressive remix.
“Crystallize” is a wicked EP, and definitely one for the bass heads amongst you. You can grab a copy here.
