This week saw young Australian producer Max Sasse secure his first official release. Having been picked up on by Sony Music Australia and Basik Rkrds, the massive “Take That Bounce” hit stores yesterday. Using the current sounds of Melbourne Bounce and giving it his own unique take, Sasse has created something of an electro smasher. You can pick up his debut single here, and check out his musical guilty pleasures below.
1) Ellie Goulding – “Lights”
This track is amazing from start to finish. Her voice is very different to a lot of other vocalists and the song is catchy all the way through. I love the instruments used, from piano to drums, in this song.
2) Eazy-E – “It's On”
This track is one of my favourite tracks. The elements used are awesome as are the breaks between verses. Eazy-E is my favourite rap artist out there.
3) Taylor Swift – “Shake It Off”
This song is probably the catchiest song I’ve ever heard. The up and downs in the vocals sound really good throughout the song.
4) Samantha Jade – “Firestarter”
The leads in this track going over the vocals are amazing. Samantha Jade’s vocals in this track are brilliant and go so well with every sample used.
5) The Wanted – “Chasing The Sun”
The vocals are so amazing and bringing in the main leads used are just crazy! The little build-ups and effects used on the vocals are wicked too. From start to the end, this track is outstanding all the way through!
