Release after release, Firepower Records just seem to do wonders for the bass community. Getter's Inner Workings EP is no different as he takes new directions track after track. Starting off with ‘Clockwork‘, the deep intro of eerie ticking sounds and bass leads to a perfection of drum and bass vibes for the second half of the song. Skipping to ‘Sinner; featuring the London based lyricist Maksi, he explores hip hop infused dubstep and gives it a fresh new sound. Then the jaw dropping track ‘Dubstep is Dead‘, which is titled after critics response to a decline in the genre, get a tongue in cheek response.
One of the most notable tracks on the release is ‘Stay A While‘. There's no doubt when it comes to his creativity and it definitely shines in this soulful bass tune.
