Forbes has released its annual list of highest paid musicians for the year. This year Forbes reports that there was roughly half a billion dollars difference between the first place and second place musician. So who is this musician earning over $600 million per year? That musician is Dr. Dre.
Dr. Dre earned $620 million during the 2014 year. This large salary however can't fully be attributed to his music career. Dr. Dre sold Beats Headphones to Apple for a total of billion.
Aside from Dr. Dre's astronomical income, EDM made a presence this year and coming in at the #9 spot was Calvin Harris with a total income of $66 million for the 2014 year.
