Earlier this year, the producer known as Sam Hagensen was asked by the team at the record label Hope Sick Cola to do a release. Sam ended up compiling a number of tracks for an EP that he claimed he produced himself. As the EP entitled ‘One & It's Over' gained fans, the team at DoAndroidsDance took notice of the new producer and threw it up on their SoundCloud in hopes of giving the artist a little recognition.
Just in the past two days, a track entitled ‘Crow' from the EP on their SoundCloud began to get an overflow of comments about the producer's work. Fans discovered that the ‘Crow' was actually a track by the producer DIVERSA.
Sam Hagensen and the record label Hope Sick Cola both took to Facebook to set the story straight:
The tracks Sam had been trying to pass off as his own have since been removed from the Hope Sick Cola and DoAndroidsDance SoundClouds. DoAndroidsDance have been very apologetic for accidentally promoting music from a producer who was trying to cheat the system. DIVERSA also took to twitter to comment on the events:
we've all come to one understanding and that in itself is enough

Although the dishonesty of the producer Sam Hagensen caused this unfortunate occurrence, we're glad the true artist DIVERSA is now receiving the credit he deserves for his work and all parties involved had the opportunity to speak out in order to set the record straight.
