One of the world's most controversial music festivals is coming back after a huge loss last year due to its weather, along with prior negative press. Next year, New York City will yet again host the Electric Zoo festival, but there is a twist this time around. Festival reps have announced a new name ‘Electric Zoo: Transformed’ and that it would take place once again pm Randall’s Island for Labor Day weekend [September 4th-6th, 2015].
The major change, besides the minor name tweakage, is the coming together of two huge companies; ID&T [Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld + more] and Made Event. The forthcoming festival is rumored to have a multi-genre line up this year, unlike years prior where it was strictly EDM.
