Google Unveils New Statistics On EDM’s Growth During 2014

As Google owns roughly 66% of the search engine market share, many's peoples first choice when searching for something relies in the hands of Google. Due to the high number of searches done on Google, it is only natural for them to collect this information and use it for “Big Data.”

During the 2014 year, Google saw a huge increase of searches for the ‘EDM' culture. Whether it was searches for new music, certain artists or even particular music festivals.

Google created the infographic below which shows what EDM stands for, the increased popularity of EDM YouTube channels, the top EDM songs for 2014 and much more.
