Seven Lions is by far my favorite producer. He just never lets me down. His ever-changing styles are what make Jeff Montalvo the best bang for my buck. You can get melodic dubstep or a psy-trance track, electro or house. Never staying in one mold without losing his signature sounds is one of the many talents that Seven Lions brings to the table.
Lose myself, featuring Lynn Gunn, is a track that will be released on the Seven Lions next EP, The Throes Of Winter, that you can preorder on iTunes here mixing I have seen since the first time I heard Seven Lions. The man has a way of putting emotions down so perfectly. I suppose having a wife as awesome as Emmi for inspiration would do that to a guy.
. This track is one of the finest examples of genreLose myself starts off as a well put together trance track. The vocals that Lynn Gunn lay over this track fall into place so perfectly with melodic synths that fall like rain. Jeff’s ability to take me on a journey through out a track simply amazes me. Just when the track starts to hit you in the feels Seven Lions drops you from the clouds into hard-hitting electro drop so full of energy that I foresee him jumping on stage showing you his O face.
The second drop is just the right balance between trance and electro. It is such a well-crafted track from start to finish. Mixed to perfection, Seven Lions continues to impress me with his work. I can not wait to see what level he takes it to on The Throes of Winter EP, and I will be anticipating the Winter tour.
