When deadmau5 paired with Beatport to announce a remix contest of Dillon Francis’ heavy-hitting, grimy electro rendition of his hit “Some Chords,” the stakes were monumental. With the winner seeing his or her remix officially released on Beatport via mau5trap, there were sure to be some great entries to pick from. The latest offering is a groovy future house remix with apparent electro influences from Andrei Stephen. As an 18 year old Toronto-native, Stephen draws heavily upon his hometown hero’s electro and progressive style to help deliver a stunning remix.
